DESCRIPTION:The 1st Carlingford Scout Section has facilitated the Great North Walk - Hornsby Heights to Cowan - (3 days\, 2 nights) to support a Scout completing her Adventurous Journey for the Australian Scout Award. Please note that this activity is planned and led by a youth working towards their Peak Award. The walk covers a total of 32 kilometers\, from Hornsby Heights to Cowan over three days. Both Scouts and Venturers are welcome to join\, but previous experience with lightweight camping and bushwalking\, as well as good fitness\, are required.
