DESCRIPTION:Cub Day Out 2026 – Cockatoo Island \n\nCockatoo Island is an UNESCO World Heritage Site in the Sydney Harbour with a rich history during both the convict and industrial eras in the history of Sydney. It is open to the public\, easy reachable via ferry\, full of information boards and it is a safe environment for Cub Scout aged children. \n\nJust like the CDO in 2024\, the day will be self-guided by the individual Cub Scout sections. An information booklet and map will be provided\, it contains a suggested pathway over the island and a knowledge quiz which can be used for a group SIA project.
