DESCRIPTION:This walk is designed as an introductory and practice overnight hike for Scouts and Venturers working towards OAS Bushwalking Stage 4.\nThe hike will commence at the end of Lieutenant Bowen Road and follow the Burralow Fire Trail and Tabaraga Ridge Track to Burralow Creek Campground. We will also undertake a night hike to the Bulcamatta Falls Glow Worm Caves. The total walking distance is approximately 14 km over the weekend.\nThis activity is ideal for Scouts and Venturers undertaking their first overnight hike. Previous bushwalking or camping experience is optional\, however good health and a reasonable level of fitness are required.\nThroughout the hike\, we will work on OAS Bushwalking Stage 3 and 4 badgework\, while still allowing plenty of free and play time for Scouts.\nBurralow Creek Campground and picnic area is located beside Burralow Creek in the Lower Grose Valley\, at the foot of the Blue Mountains National Park\, providing an excellent and scenic environment for learning bushwalking skills.
