DESCRIPTION:The 1st Ermington Scout Section organised this Six Foot Track Hike (3 Days\, 2 Nights) to support a scout completing his Adventurous Journey for the Australian Scout Award. Please note the activity is planned and led by a youth working for the Peak Award. The Six Foot Track was originally a bridle trail from Katoomba to the Jenolan Caves. The Scout would be walking along most but not all of the track due to road closures. Participants will walk for about 39km from the Cnr of Pardons Rd & Jenolan Caves Rd\, Ganbenang to Old Ford Reserve\, 1363 Megalong Rd\, Megalong Valley\, during the Easter holidays. Previous lightweight camping\, bushwalking experience\, and good fitness are required. Bushwalking OAS Stage 4 and above is required.
