DESCRIPTION:An intermediate level hike for Scouts and older in the Grose Valley within Blue Mtns National Park. Starting at Pierces Pass and descending to the Gross River\, through the majestic Blue Gum Forest and camping at Acacia Flat. Distance is 8km each day. Spectacular views. There is a 500m descent/ascent over a 2km distance\, so this is very steep. This hike is not suitable for younger or unfit hikers.\nThere will the ample opportunities for OAS badgework and progression of adult bushwalking qualifications.
