Brief Summary:
Practice overnight hike. Available to Cub Scouts and Scouts. Available to Cub Scouts ages 9 and 10. Suitable for entry level participants. Approx 20 km return. Mostly firetrail. Venturers, Rovers and Leaders available to support with slow pace can speak to Tristan about helping.
Additional Information

Train from Sydney arrives Wentworth Falls 8:15 am, meet in Coronation Park near station at 8:30 am, arrange carpool and or maxi taxi to Queen Victoria Sanitorium, corner of Kings Tableland Road and Kedumba Valley Road. Start walk approx 9:30 am.

Remnants of indigenous, local mining and farming history. Significant gradual descent/ascent into and out of the Kedumba Valley via Kedumba Pass. Gradual gradient on the firetrail.

Route: Kedumba Valley Road, Gaterboard Gate/Carpark, Cleary Memorial Lookout, Swine Line, Kedumba Pass, Maxwells Slab Hut, Waterfall Creek ford, W7 Cedarland Ridge Trail, Kedumba River crossing campground. 

Top elevation 840 metres, Campground 147 metres

May extend via Maxwells Walking Track link loop.

Water can be refilled at the river, use purification tablets. Please carry sufficient water.

Suitable for youth members who are learning to carry a loaded pack. This route includes walking track and unsealed roads. Suitable for entry level participants. Suitable for youth and adults who exercise and or play sport regularly.
