Day 1 will be a day hike with day packs to visit the historic Bowtell's swing bridge and return to the camp site. Day 2 will be carrying a full overnight pack for a short hike. Aim is to gently introduce youth to overnight hiking and hiking equipment\, so they can be more prepared for more difficult hikes in future.\n\nAttendance criteria:\n•Youth are required to be 10yrs and older.\n•Must have min of 2 night under canvas\n•Cook own dinner on a hiking cooker. assistance will be given if required.\n•Must have completed a hikes that total over 10km\n•Have the ability to walk 10km in one day.
