Brief Summary:
Abseil day aimed to try and encourage leaders to take up abseiling.
No previous abseil experience is necessary.
Additional Information
Where: Warrabunda Scout Camp is on Rockford Rd Tahmoor, 1.7km from the Old Hume Hwy (main road through Tahmoor).
What to bring: lunch, snacks, drink, suncream (you will be exposed to the sun and wearing a helmet with no sun visor)
What to wear: T shirt, sturdy shorts and joggers.
What will I learn: abseiling, safety equipment and procedures, abseiling knots
What will I complete: Safe Participant (depending on how involved you get)
