About Scout Event

Scout Event (EMS) was created by and is actively being developed by Matt Thompson (Deputy Region Commissioner, GWS Region).

Starting out as a uni project and event management system for Region events in 2015, the platform has since grown to handle a wide variety of events (including multi-group, District, Region and State based events). As at May 2023, over 1,000 events have been successfully managed through Scout Event, with over 52,000 applicants and 29,000 payments processed.
