Day 1 Assessment of basic skills - Participants should attempt the questions in the Safe Participant Workbook and bring the workbook to the workshop.
- Warm up exercises to prevent injuries on cold muscles.
- Range Safety,
- Whistle system,
- Assemble dismantle a bow,
- Trim and tune the bow for use,
- Name the parts of the bow and what they do,
- Shot cycle
- Anchor,
- Stance & posture,
- Mindfulness & visualisation of shot.
- Setting up a Safe range
- Archery practice - bring your own bow if you have one
- Safe Participant Workbook completion.
