This Region Gathering will NOT be open to other Regions, although we will be sharing Cataract with GWS (Greater Western Sydney Region) and will be running our own activities on our designated sub-camp sites.

NOTE - Directions to Cataract Scout Park.

Cataract Scout Park is located on the Bulli / Appin Road half way between Bulli Lookout & Appin.

If taking the F6 from Sydney take the Campbelltown exit at Bulli Lookout, head west to Appin and look for Baden Powell Drive on the left.

If taking the M5/F5 from Sydney take the Narellan Road exit at Campbelltown (2nd Campbelltown exit) off the freeway, follow the signs to Appin & Wollongong, go through Appin and head towards Bulli, the camp is on the right on Baden Powell Drive.

NOTE - Fees / Costs.

Your Unit will set their own fee for the weekend, in addition to the Region Gathering Camp Fee ($45.00).

NOTE - Camping Sites.

Your Group will be camping within their District. You must know which District you belong to, to know where you are camping.

All sections are expected to camp with their respective Units, including Venturers, Rovers & Leaders.

Each unit WILL be responsible for maintaining appropriate camping standards and hygiene. Participants will be camping in tents and must be self-sufficient for the entire time.

Gear lists will be issued by each Unit.

All contact and inquiries about the camp should be to your own leaders in the first instance.

NOTE - Activities.

This camp will feature activities that could involve water and adventurous activities, so it is strongly suggested that you bring clothes that could get wet and then a change of clothes if necessary. Sensible, enclosed footwear is essential. Activities will include some water-related & abseiling. Abseiling will be available to Scouts, Venturers and Rovers only

Districts will run activities based on their sub-theme in the vicinity of their subcamp.
