Mandatory Registration for all People Assisting with Bump In/Bump Out for Units attending Cuboree 2023.

Unit Co-ordinators are encouraged to complete this application for all members of the team that will be required to prepare your unit site ahead of the Friday start of Cuboree and then packup the site following the closure and departure of the event on the Tuesday. Please note that the Cubs are expected to set up their own tents on arrival at the event and Set Up/Pack Down teams should only be setting up the kitchen and dining area for the site withi limited pre-approved exceptions.

All members attending the Bump In/Bump Out are required to be registered and complete an e-permission form for the event. No Youth Under the Age of 18 are allowed to assist with Bump In/Bump Out unless they are a registered Junior Service Leader with the event. Absolutly no cubs are allowed to be on site for Bump In/Bump Out.

All members must wear fully enclosed shoes, a shirt with sleeves and a hat at all times while on site.

Units may choose from one of the 4 times to arrive for Bump In - 9:00am, 10:00am, 11:00am and 12 noon. All Units must be off site by 4pm. Units traveling from country regions (Riverina, The Golden West, North Coast, North West) who have thier busses arriving at the site on Friday Night may choose to arrive after 4:00pm Wednesday and commence setup on Thursday Morning.

Bump Out teams are free to start deconstructing their site on Tuesday. Cubs who are able to assist are encouraged to help pull down and pack tents, gateways and fences, this will depend on thier departure time. Adults who attended the event and form part of the Bump Out team are allowed to remain behind to help with Packup, however no lunch will be provided on the Tuesday.  Cars and Trailers, as well as people arriving on site as part of the Bump Out team will not be allowed back on site until all busses have left the site. This is currently expected to be at 2pm.

No catering is provided for Bump In/Bump Out teams. 

It is expected that all members of the Bump In/Bump Out team will leave site at the end of the day and will return on Cuboree transport the next day. Up to 3 members who are attending the event as a Line Leader or Service Leader w may stay on site to supervise gear, provided it is approved by the Director - Operations.Camp Helpers and Trainee Leaders may only stay on site as one of these people if accompanied by a qualified leader.

Any leaders staying overnight before Cuboree or remaining behind once Cuboree has finished must apply for independant travel before the 21st August 2023. Independant Travel applications will not be processed after this date and members will be expected to arrive by Bus.

All people accessing the site MUST be registered and have completed the e-1 form prior to attending the site.
