Venturer Activity and Social Camp 2023

Venturers are having a camp down south. We’re holding a fun, active camp in the southern part of our region just for Venturers. But it’s not restricted to only Orama district Venturers, all North Coast Venturers are invited. We’ll be Canoeing, Rock climbing, Laser tag, photo treasure hunt and socialising, with a campfire (assuming no total fire ban). Did you hear how much fun we had up in Ballina? We’re doing that here. Limited numbers, so book your spot as soon as registrations open.

* To keep costs as low as possible, this is a self catered weekend with the exception of Saturday night's dinner.  Some refrideration is avalible, please lable your food if bring kept in the kitchen.*

Travel and arrive on the Friday night, eat dinner before or bring it with you. Staying at the Camden Haven Scout Hall. 

• Canoing at Lake Cathie
• Indoor Rock Climbing / Indoor Laser Tag
• Catered dinner Saturday night.

Gear required:

• Uniform
• Tent and sleeping gear - space is limited, smaller tents preferred.
• Food and cooking gear mess kit - SATURDAY NIGHT DINNER PROVIDED ONLY
• Personal hygiene - showers available
• Clothing for canoeing including covered water shoes - Sun safe shirts please (collared shirt). No covered shoes ... no water activities!!
• Clothing for rock climbing and laser tag
• Day pack with hat, personal first aid kit, sunscreen & water bottle
