Patrols turn up, construct a raft and then compete in a number of interesting challenges.
Refer to the attached information sheet on the raft requirements (traditional or 'super class'), events and gear requirements.
Patrol Registration:
Patrol Leader needs to email the completed Patrol Registration form to anthony.macarthur@nsw.scouts.com.au no later than 6:00pm on Friday 24 November for early bird points.
Program:
8:00am - registration opens and commence raft construction
8:30am - opening parade
10:30am - morning tea and raft scrutineering/safety checks
11:00am - event 1 (sprint race)
12:00midday - lunch and raft repairs
12:30pm - event 2 (tow race)
1:30pm - event 3 (first aid)
2:30pm - free time and raft pack up
3:00pm - closing parade
Location:
Kissing Point Park is on the Parramatta River. Parking for vehicles with trailers is available near the boat ramp, whilst other vehicles should park in nearby residential streets. The Scouts area will be on the eastern side from the ferry wharf.
