Macquarie Pass Canyon, or Macquarie Rivulet, is largely a scenic waterfall abseiling trip, though there are a couple of short slot-like sections. Being on the south coast, the water tends to be warmer than the canyons in the Blue Mountains.
Suitable for Venturers, Rovers and Leaders with good abseiling skills as the trip involves approximately 10 abseils up to 34m.
There are lots of swimming holes making for a fabulous day out, especailly as the walk in and out is short and very easy.
All participants must have a minimum of Level 1 Abseil qualifications.
