Activity Overview.
The Course runs from Saturday 1st June, with check-in from 18:00 on Friday and will conclude at 14:00 Sunday 2nd June.
The weekend will be catered from Saturday Breakfast to Sunday Lunch, please come already eaten or something to cook on Friday and bring own camping needs including mess kit.
Scouts will be placed into Patrols and will undertake a series of Leadership challenges.
The BSLC is a Sun Safe event and all participants are expected to wear a broad brim hat (not a cap) and collared shirt.
Any member who doesn’t follow rules and obey the Scout Law will miss out on Activities and could possibly be sent home.
Who should come?
Senior Scouts who are ready and willing to participate as determined by their Unit Council.
No more than 3 Scouts per Group, unless the capped number of 20 is not met.
Leaders who have Scouts attending.
Camping.
Need to supply own camping and mess kit
Membership Requirements
All members must remain financial and registered within ScoutHub from the time applications open and until the end of the event.
COVID-19 Considerations
We are excited to be running the BSLC again and hope that you will join us for this weekend. However as with all activities currently being planned for now and into the future, we need to take into account the evolving situation with the COVID-19 Pandemic. This means that there will be changes to how we run the BSLC this year, up to and including having to cancel this event at short notice. Please regularly check back to this page where we will provide any updates on how COVID will affect our ability to run the course.

· If you are unwell, or are showing symptoms of COVID-19 we ask that you stay home, self-isolate and get tested. Our refund policy allows that any person who stays home and provides medical evidence (Including a COVID-19 test) will receive a refund for this event.

· If you have been diagnosed with COVID-19 or otherwise and have been directed to Quarantine or Self-Isolate by the NSW Government or a Medical or Healthcare Professional.
