Brief Summary:
A low key social camp for GWSR Venturers. Based at Scout Camp Kariong near Gosford, you have the option of driving up or catching the train to Wondabyne and hiking in.
Additional Information
Scout Camp Kariong is situated on the Central Coast near Gosford. The site comprises a number of smaller campsites and a larger recreation area. There is a natural swimming hole and is close to the Great North Walk. We are looking at making use of a climbing wall. Although there are some good opportunities for abseiling, we aren't planning to do this.
The walk in from Wondabyne Station can be used for the VSA bushwalk if you need this for Dragon Skin.
Units will self cater and bring their own tents etc.
