Cubs from all round the South Metropolitan Region get together each year for an activity. This year is to visit;
HARS Aviation Museum - (Shellharbour Airport, 54 Airport Rd, Albion Park Rail NSW 2527)
The Historical Aircraft Restoration Society Inc (HARS) is a not-for-profit organisation and was formed in 1979 by a group of aviation enthusiasts interested in the preservation of Australian aviation history. Every year there is something new to see, and HARS is truly a solid destination on the World map of aviation “places to see”.
We will be doing a Tarmac day and will involve the static display of some of their distinctive aircraft. Members of the public will be able to board and sit in some of the aircraft including the cockpits of aircraft like their F-111C fighter bomber and Neptune submarine hunter. All exhibits are staffed by guides who can help you live the experience.
Gates open 9:30am and close 3:30pm.
Each Cub unit to organise their own transport. Albion Park Rail train station is a short walk away.
