Parramatta District Scouts Friday the 13th Ghost Tour of Old Parramatta Gaol

Parramatta District Scouts have a unique opportunity to undertake a ghost tour of the Old Parramatta Gaol on Friday the 13th of September.

The tour will include some history of the building as well as stories of some of the 'residents' over the years. By it's very nature the ghost tour is intended to be spooky and scary, so please consider if appropriate for your Scout.

There is a strict maximum of 100 participants for this activity.

Registrations need to have payment and E-Permission completed prior to the application close date (31 August). Incomplete registrations (i.e. payment and/or E-permission) as at close date will be cancelled. Late registration is not available.  

The tour is being run by Paranormal Entertainment (ABN 47 404 76 8964) trading as APPI Ghost Hunts & Tours (Australian Paranormal Phenomenon Investigators). Acceptance of the E-Permission includes acceptance of the tour opperator's T&Cs, which are noted below.

Cost:

• Early bird cost is $25.00 (registration before 17 August) 
• Standard cost is $27.00

Cancellation Cost:

• Cancellation before the application close date (i.e. up to 31 August) will receive refund less transaction charges
• Cancellation after the application close date (i.e. from 1 September) will not receive a refund (due to full payment to the tour operator)

Wear:

Scout Uniform with closed in shoes.

Bring:

Small back pack containing:

• torch/headlamp
• drink bottle 
• jumper
• rain coat
• snacks (optional)

Guest Conduct

• Any guest that does not follow tour guide instructions or behaves inappropriately towards tour guides, other guests and staff during a tour will be asked to leave the tour without a refund.

Waiver of Liability

• Paranormal Entertainment, trading as APPI Ghost Hunts & Tours, visit haunted, historic locations that may include stairs, dark alleyways and other hazards.

• Paranormal Entertainment hold Public Liability Insurance and ensure all care is taken for your safety during the tour, however, by purchasing a ticket you agree that you voluntarily assume the risk of injury, accident, death, loss, cost or damage to your person or property and you release the venue, Paranormal Entertainment and booking agents from any and all liability resulting from the negligence of the venue and its owners, officers, employees or agents. 

• You agree to indemnify and hold Paranormal Entertainment, the venue and its owners, officers, employees and agents harmless from and against any liability resulting from the negligence of the venue, Paranormal Entertainment and its owner, employees, volunteers or agents.  This indemnification obligation shall not include the gross negligence or willful misconduct of Paranormal Entertainment, the venue and/or its owners, officers, employees or agents. 

• You certify that you are in good physical health and able to undertake and engage in the range of tour activities in which you choose to participate. 

• This waiver, release and indemnification agreement includes, without limitation, all injuries which may occur as a result of (a) use of all amenities and equipment in the venue and your participation in any activity, (b) sudden unforeseen malfunctioning of any equipment and (c) slipping or falling while in the venue or on the venue premises, including adjacent sidewalks and parking areas. 

• You acknowledge that you have carefully read this waiver, release and indemnification agreement and fully understand that it is a release of liability. 

• For yourself and your heirs, executors and assigns you acknowledge and agree that you have been fully informed of and acknowledge, assume and accept the risks inherent in attending a Paranormal Entertainment event.
