Brief Summary:
Social camp for the Scouts and Venturers Scouts who are attending AJ2025 in the Parramatta District Jamboree Units (FC008 and FC011).
Additional Information

Description:

Provide opportunity for Scouts and Venturers attending AJ2025 to socialise with those in their AJ2025 Jamboree Unit. 
Additionally, the Leaders will be assessing for PL and APLs roles and to understand the relationships between the youth for Patrol compositions. 
Scouts need to have lunch before arriving on Saturday.

Scouts will be undertaking a range of activities, including:

 

Cost:

The cost of this camp is included in the Jamboree Unit cost for each youth member, which is to be paid by installments to the Scout Group bank account notified by your Unit Cordinator (Jumbuck or Pommy).
 

Wear:

  • Scout uniform

  • Hat 

 

Bring:

Opal card for the tram (minimum $5 balance) for the tram ride

Overnight bag/pack containing:

  • sleeping bag

  • sleeping mat

  • spare clothing (incl. warm clothing)

  • rain coat

  • torch/headlamp

  • mess kit (plate, bowl, cup, knife, fork & spoon) + tea towel

  • personal toiletries (toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, sunscreen, insect repellent, etc)

  • water bottle 

  • money to buy snacks at 7-Eleven (optional)
