Brief Summary:
Join us for our first South Met Region Program & Adventure Expo on Sunday, the 22nd of September! This will be a fun day of networking, information gathering, and a heap of gear stalls, information sessions, help desks, and fun activities for Adult Leaders, Adult Helpers, Group Committee Members, Rovers, Venturers and Scouts. The day will begin at 9 a.m. in the Assembly Building at Heathcote Scout Camp, but before that, join us for a coffee from 8 a.m. (Coffee Car on-site all day). Throughout the day, there will be a range of sessions and activities covering many topics. We will cover three main areas: Adventure, Youth Program, and Support Systems. Join us for our first South Met Region Program & Adventure Expo on Sunday, the 22nd of September! 

This will be a fun day of networking, information gathering, and a heap of gear stalls, information sessions, help desks, and fun activities for Adult Leaders, Adult Helpers, Group Committee Members, Rover Scouts and Venturer Scouts. 

The day will begin at 9 a.m. in the Assembly Building at Heathcote Scout Camp, but before that, join us for a coffee from 8 a.m. (Coffee Car on-site all day). Throughout the day, there will be a range of sessions and activities covering many topics. We will be covering three main areas: Adventure, Youth Program, and Support Systems

The region Expo won't have you sitting in one seat all day!

Beyond the games and fun, there will be opportunities to choose your own activities and sessions. Three to four topics/activities/sessions will run in parallel, and you can choose the topic you wish to learn more about! Split your leader team up to get more coverage or hit the one topic you want to learn more about. You will also have the chance to speak to subject matter experts, receive direct help and assistance, and have questions answered by the Region Team and guests from the State Team & State Service Centre. 

Everyone in attendance will be provided with lunch, during which you will have time to explore a range of Expo Stalls and activities and meet and greet with fellow leaders. You will get time throughout the day to work with meet with other Leaders in your section, to get updates and plan for the 2025 Calander year.

- Fun activities to get engaged with available Adventurous Activities in the Region

- Networking & Meeting new adult leaders from across the Region.
