For the Youth members
This weekend will give you an opportunity to get OAS progressions, Safe and Trained participant in some activites and a range of skills that will be prerequisites for many of the activites to be offered next year 2025.
Due to the nature of the activities this weekend is best suited to Scout age and up.
Youth Members pre-requisites:
OAS Stage 3 in core Skills or above
Aquatics Stage 2 or above
Know how to ride a bike.

Come along and assist in the running of some of these activites and start your journey toward guide qualifications.
Saturday night will be catered for in the form of a large BBQ event. This will be a chance to network, meet Scouts and Leaders from other groups and find out about Adventerous Activities and the qualification system.
As with all adventerous qualifications, turning up does not automaticly equate to a qualification but skill attitude and possible previous experience will all contribute to attaining qualifications. You will however certainly leave the weekend with new skills and experience.
All participants must have completed their Trained Participant Core units (TP core)

The purpose of this document is to recognise the skills and knowledge gained from the Youth pathways of Outdoor Adventure Skills to be granted credit for Scouting Adventure face to face course and/or Safe or Trained participant Scouting skills of the National Adventurous Activity Framework (NAAF).
