FEES: $5 per Cub Scout - includes all activities and a souvenir badge. Leaders, parents and other visitors are free entry. Parents and siblings are welcome to stay for the day and will be able to see the Cubs undertaking various challenges. Cub Day badges will be available for sale on the day.
ACTIVITY BASES: Activity bases open at 9:30am and close at 12 noon for lunch. Activity bases re-open at 1:30pm and close at 4:00pm.
All visitors must be off site before the gates are locked at 4:30pm. Packs may visit their Group's Scout Troop only during the lunch break - no returning to the campsite after bases close. Badges can be bought and swapped at the International Display base.
GETTING TO JAMBORETTE: If you are able to car pool with another family this may be wise as there is a $7 fee for parking per car.
All cars must arrive at the Bents Basin Road entrance on the northern side of the basin only. Bents Basin State Recreation Area requires all vehicles to display a valid pass when parked within the site - these are available to purchase from the on-site vending machines.
Park rangers will book any vehicles without a valid pass displayed on their windscreen, so please be warned.
APPLICATIONS: To apply, all applicants must complete an activity form (E1). One person from each Pack must enter all Cubs and Leaders attending (applicants) on-line into the Region Event Management System (EMS) at www.events.greaterwestscouts.com.au. Each Pack must then send the following items into the Region Office (6 Baden Powell Place, Winston Hills NSW 2153) by close of business on Friday 22nd May 2015:

(3) A completed youth application form (Y1) for all New Chums
WHAT TO WEAR / BRING: Cubs to wear full uniform, enclosed shoes (otherwise they will be unable to participate in activities) and wear a hat. Need to carry a day pack with lunch (depends on the arrangements with the Scout Troop), snacks, water bottle, warm jacket and a raincoat. A pair of water shoes or old sneakers and a towel is a must if going canoing. Please make sure everything is named so any lost items can be returned to their owners! Cub Scouts should leave all mobile phones, i Pods and other similar electronic devices at home for the day.
(NB. Each Cub Pack should set an earlier closing date so that forms can arrive at GWS Region Office (Bundilla) before close of business Friday 22nd May 2015. Please pay with cash or a Group cheque payable to Scouts Australia).
This form is required to be completed by all Cubs and Leaders attending this event.
