Medieval Games

Get ready to go back in time. The Plague, Knights, Princesses, Sword fights and the Holy Grail.

The weekend is based on Monty Python's Holy Grail. Think coconut sound effects, going on a quest to win, and celebrting with a Medieval Doof and then Fayre.

The Schedule:

Friday 28 February - 4.00pm - Venturers start arriving and setting up their tents, eat before you arrive, or bring something to eat for dinner that night.

Sunday 2 March - 3.00pm - Venturers are picked up. Venturers will not be leaving before this time.

Catered from Saturday Breakfast to Sunday Lunch.

What will be happening over the weekend:

• Monty Python's Holy Grail - watch on the big screen
• Swimming in the pool
• Knight Challenge & Castle wars
• Tree climb
• Peasant run (archery tag) & capture the flag
• Medieval Doof (disco)
• Medieval Fayre with Forging & soldering art, apple bobbing, Wheelbarrow jousting, make a dunking chair, mock sword fighting, pillow fighting pole
• Chill, connect, socialise and have FUN

Venturer/leader equipment:

• Camping - standing camp so tent, bedding, chair
• Personal gear - head lamp, mess kit, toiletries, towel for swimming (no showers), sunscreen, water bottle, medications
• Clothing - Medieval costume is awesome, general camping clothes (collared shirt, trousers, covered shoes, hat), sleep wear, sun safe swimwear, bring cotton pants/top for forging
• Dinner for Friday night

Note: Monty Python's Holy Grail movie will be played on the Friday Night and will be visible to all participants. The movie contains some adult themes. Participants are welcome to not watch the movie, but it will be played outside and likely heard by all.

This event includes elaborate setup and equipment hire. This will make it awesome.
