Additional Information

Join us down at Half Moon Bay, Drummoyne to clean up rubbish from our sensitive marine environment. This is an Iron Cove District event, organised and led Kai and Theodore, endorsed by our newly-formed Venturer Council. Log it as an Outdoor Challenge or Community Challenge for your Milestone!

Cubs, Scouts, Venturers, and Rovers are welcome, but could Cubs please have an accompanying leader or parent. Any other leaders attending are appreciated but not required.

We will meet at 2pm at the bubbler outside the entrance to the pool - use what3words ///using.blank.weedy to find the exact location.

The event will officially conclude by 6pm but we will most likely run out of rubbish to pick up or bags to fill by then so please prepare for an earlier finish.

Gloves and rubbish bags will be provided (or bring your own gloves if you’d rather).

You must wear enclosed shoes, a hat, and sunscreen.

This activity contributes to the Landcare Additional Award, and could contribute to an Environment Special Interest Area.

Should adverse weather conditions cancel this event, you will be notified via the primary contact details provided on the permission form.

This event has no cost and transport is self arranged. Parking is available nearby at Aqua Luna or under the bridge.
