Bryan Hall will be the Guide on this expedition.
The activity cost covers only the GWS Region supply of a Life Jacket and Canoe.
Private transport may be available ex-Bundilla or ex-Seven Hills Boat Shed at Winston Hills depending on the number of cars and participants attending.
Sun protection (hat, sunglasses, sunscreen etc) required; Food and water for 1 day
As a minimum qualification all participants will be required to have completed a 2 day GWS (or equivalent) Canoe Course. Participants should be able to: fit a pfd/life jacket, select the right paddle, use appropriate paddle strokes competently, self-rescue, talk about the environment and weather in regard to boating, talk about planning for a trip, apply navigation techniques, do a deep water rescue, raft up and swap boats.
A car shuffle will be required between Putty Road and Lower Portland
