This workshop will include theoretical and practical instruction in self-rescue and rigging techniques. It is aimed at Venturers, Rovers, and Leaders who have completed one of the following:
Have completed OAS Abseiling Stage 5 / Safe Participant in abseiling
OR
equivalent abseiling experience as approved by the activity coordinator prior to the event closing date.

There is no theory night session for this event, however, resources to review prior to the course will be distributed closer to the date.

Please note the practical days can be called off if it is raining or a fire is in the area.
There must be a minimum of 6 participants for the workshop to go ahead.
If you are unable to attend the practical sessions, you must advise the Activity Coordinator as early as possible. Please do so no later than the Wednesday prior to the weekend. This is to allow notice if participant numbers fall below the minimum and the workshop is cancelled.
