Participants will be constructing a Small Solder PCB to keep, a YAGI Tape Measure Antenna, and a Coax Colinear roll-up backpackable. These are yours to keep. This is on Saturday whilst you are also learning and fulfilling the practical requirements. Camping over that night, you get to play with the radio and get to experience the great propagation that we are currently experiencing.
Sunday you will participate in a Fox hunt in the local park across the road to understand how radio works, get some practice communicating as well as more experience on air as an Amateur Radio Operator.
Around lunchtime on Sunday, you would then sit the exam to complete your weekend, and you would know if you have passed or not when you leave. With the practical learning you get on Saturday, you should have no problem with the exam.
