This is a vertical rescue refresher weekend.
We will hold a Vertical Rescue Course on the first weekend of February. This will be held at Warrabunda Scout Camp in Tahmoor. Camping will be available, but youth members will need to be supervised by leaders.
For guides, it is compulsory to renew this qualification every two years. Though, I prefer to do it annually.
Others are welcome to come and learn. You will be expected to know how to self-belay and prussik. For youth members, this will include some Stage 5 Abseiling skills. Feel free to pass this on to youth members with the appropriate skills.
