This event is open to Scouts and older. There are some steep descents and ascents on bush tracks through the Gorge. This section may be difficult with an overnight pack. Abseiling will be on beginner 8m cliffs and progressing to more difficulty as appropriate.
There will be opportunities to complete badgework in bushwalking, camping and vertical OAS. This event may help venturers qualify for DragonSkin.
Due to resource limitations this activity will be limited to 30 participants. Warrabunda campsite has basic toilets and fresh water available. Lightweigth hiking and cooking. All gear must fit inside your pack. Suggested packing list & menu ideas available on request (glenn.austin@nsw.scouts.com.au)
The activity may be cancelled if heavy rainfall is forecast as we need to cross the Bargo River to hike into the campsite.
