Activity overview: Please look at the attached Document for full details.

We strongly recommend walking Boots with ankle support for this hike, it is imperative you have worn in your footwear,

There are many options, but as your feet may still be growing, don't go overboard.

The rest of the Kit will be discussed durning the theory sessions, but it is a lightweight hike/camping. We have provided a kit list for reference.

Scouts have some kit that can be borrowed for the hike if you do not have suitable kit.

Brief overview

Scouts will travel as a group to Woy Woy, where the leaders will meet them, and we will begin a 3-day 2-night lightweight Hike around Bouddi National Park; we will work on skills required to keep safe, plan and execute an adventurous journey like this for themselves (maybe for their Peak award in scouts).

Method of transport to and from the activity: Parents to Transport to the station Scouts to get the train as a group, but there will not be a leader with you!

More details are in the attached Bushwalking training trip document
