Brief Summary:
Abseiling for beginners and a refresher for those who have abseiled before.
Additional Information

This is a single day activity where youth members can tick off some of the requirements to go towards Stages 1 to 4 of the OAS Youth Program or SP for Leaders. Some parts of different Stages can be done a Unit meeting in the hall either before or after activity.

The activity will involve participants in the safety requirements and basic abseiling techniques.  They will learn to abseil on a variety of cliffs from a few meters to up to 20 or more.

Experienced abseilers can attended to improve their skills and assist with setups and top belaying etc.

Abseiling gear is available for use for the duration of this activity. 

Bring your own food and water for the day.
