Brief Summary:
For participants 15+ years. The weekend will go towards members gaining TP qualifications in Archery
Additional Information

This is a self catered weekend activity for Venturers, Rovers and Leaders to go towards TP skills required to run Archery activities. Camping available. 

Throughout the weekend participant will learn all the safety aspects of conducting an archery session and the hints and tips on how to quickly master the basics of shooting. The goal being to ensure all youth get a fun and safe experience of archery so that if they really enjoy it.

Equipment:

Bring any Archery gear you may have – It will be checked prior to use (note: Scouts NSW policy is to only use Recurve Bows)

Region does have some archery equipment to use if you don't have any.

Food:

  • Bring all food and drinks for the day. No sharing of food or drinks
  • No drinking water on site. Bring your own water.

Clothing:

  • Group shirt or scarf
  • Hat
  • Sunscreen

Camping:

Overnight camping available for weekend participants. Bring all camping gear.
