Brief Summary:
This is a fun day for Cubs. and Scouts to learn the basic skills and safety requirements of field target archery.
Participants will learn to enhance their, balance, hand-eye coordination, self-development, mental focus, patience, confidence, flexibility and have a load of fun.
Times
Scouts, Venturers, Rovers, Leaders 9:00am to 3:00pm
Joeys & Cubs 12:30pm to 3:00pm
Additional Information
Archery Fun Day.
Equipment:
Bring any Archery gear you may have – It will be checked prior to use (note: Scouts NSW policy is to only use Recurve Bows)
Region does have some archery equipment to use if you don't have any.
Food:
- Bring all food and drinks for the day. No sharing of food or drinks
- No drinking water on site, bring own water.
Clothing:
- Group shirt or scarf
- Hat
- Sunscreen
Camping:
If any participants would like to camp Saturday night for additional $6.00 pp please contact Course Leader - Ian Lockwood – ian.lockwood@nsw.scouts.com.au
