TRAINING CELEBRATION

Greater Western Sydney Region of Scouts Australia New South Wales Branch are holding their 100 years Celebrations of the first Wood Badge Training Course held at Gilwell Park in England in September, 1919.
All past and present holders of the Wood Badge are invited to attend our function.
CLOSING DATE: 5th September 2019
Please also pass on our invitation to anyone you know who also holds a Wood Badge and would like to attend. Both current members and also those who are no longer in the Movement but would like to renew old acquaintances are welcome.
PROGRAMME
1.00pm Welcome and Introduction
1.15pm Brief History and content of first Wood Badge course
1.30pm Depending on numbers we will be in four groups participating in scouting activities that will bring back memories of your own courses.
3.00pm Campfire type sing-a-long
3.20pm Afternoon Tea and catching up with old friends.
4.00pm Close
