Activity Overview

The Group Support Committee is a crucial element of Scouting and of how our groups run. This training day is designed for our Group Support Committees to learn how to undertake their roles, understand the red tape of Scouts NSW and overall help our groups grow!

 

Who Can Come

This event is open to all Group Chairs, Secretarys, Treasurers and PR Officers within GWS Region. Participants will undertake some sessions as a larger group and some sessions in thier particular roles.

 

Membership Requirements

All participants should be registered with ScoutHub and be a listed member of the 2025/6 Group Support Committee. As we are in the middle of the ARP season, it is understood that this may be in progress for some groups. All participants must complete an e-permission form .

 

What to Bring

All participants should bring a water bottle, pen and paper and a laptop if they wish. Morning Tea, Lunch and Afternoon Tea will be provided.

 

Cost

The cost for this event is being covered by GWS Region.
