This workshop is currently for GWS Region members only. Once we have bedded down the content for this workshop, we will make it available to all members of Scouting.
Workshop Overview
This workshop is designed as a face to face session where we will go through how to plan an event of any size in GWS Region. The workshop wil cover the approval process, budgeting and financial considerations, marketing your event, EMS, Health and Safety and Event Wrap Up.
This workshop is a requirment for those in GWS who wish to run events at a district or region level as it covers the Regions SOPs that are inline with Scouts NSW Operating procedures.
Who can come
This event is open to all Venturers, Rovers, Fellowship Members, Leaders and Commissioners within GWS Region who want to gain some experience running events or who wish to be able to run events at a District or Region Level.
What to Bring
All participants should bring a pen and notepad. Laptops can be brought to be used.
