RoVenture 2025 – North Coast & North West Region

Get ready for an unforgettable adventure on the Gold Coast!

RoVenture is the annual camp hosted by Rover Scouts for Venturer Scouts — bringing together youth members from across the North Coast & North West Regions for a weekend of challenge, fun and friendship. In 2025, we’re heading to sunny Queensland for a packed program of theme parks, beach adventures, city explorations and classic Rover hospitality.

Catering
The event is fully catered from Thursday afternoon tea through to Sunday morning tea. Please bring your own lunch for the journey to camp on Thursday and for your return trip home on Sunday.

Accommodation
We’ll be staying in bunk-style accommodation at Burleigh Heads Scout Hall. Bunk rooms will be allocated based on both same-sex and 18+/under-18 requirements to ensure the comfort and safety of all participants.

Fuel Coverage for Leaders
There is provision for partial or full fuel reimbursement for Leaders transporting youth members to the event. A strict process must be followed to ensure claims are handled correctly. Further details on how to claim reimbursement will be sent to all adults prior to the journey, so that everyone is aware of the requirements and necessary documentation.

Pricing & Costs
We acknowledge that commercial activities such as Movie World and other excursions come with a significant cost. The organising team has made every effort to keep participant costs as low as possible while still offering an action-packed, high-quality program. Your registration fee covers all activities, accommodation and catered meals during the event.

Rock climbing is included at no additional cost for all Venturer Scout participants. Rover Scouts, Leaders and Adult Helpers who wish to take part in the climbing gym challenge will be required to pay for this activity separately at the venue on the day.
