Venturer Scout Personal Development Course

This weekend's personal development course is open to Venturer Scouts and Rover Scouts 16 years to 20 years of age and is targeted at Venturer Scouts who are aiming to meet the requirements of their King’s Scout Award in the next 18months or younger Rover Scouts. Extending their understanding of themselves and their position in society and leadership.

This will be run as the new Scouts Australia curriculum four (4) character course and meets the Personal Development course requirements for your King’s Scout Award

Concepts covered include, but are not limited to:

• Problem Solving
• Communication
• Task Management
• Leadership
• Planning
• Community Involvement

This course has a maximum participant number of 18 youth. If you as the Adult want to attend this course, please get in contact with the course Leader (Clair) to discuss

Packing list

• Participants are to bring camping equipment, tent (can be shared), sleeping bag, bedding etc as you will be camping.
• The camp is catered, so please bring your mess kit, however, put all dietary requirements in your application form.
• You will also be expected to bring laptop, pen, paper etc.
• Wear uniform to and from the camp and for opening and closing.

Please arrive at 7:50am for an 8am start at Bulli Scout Hall on Saturday the 21^st of June.

Payment Terms & Conditions

Full payment must be received by SC&T Region no later than the final close date of Friday 23 May 2025 (11.59pm). Late payments may be accepted but must be arranged with SC&T Region prior to this date.

If paying into the Region Account, please use SCT-2389-(your name) as the reference.
