Brief Summary:
Cycling along the M7 bike track from Whitby Rd, Kings Langley to Hungry Jacks Glendenning, Richmond Rd. This is a night-time cycle so lights on front and back of bike are mandatory for safety.
Additional Information

The starting point is on Whitby Rd between Spring and Hutchins, at the northern tip of Pearce Reserve. Please download the document which clearly shows start and finish locations.

We will be keeping to the M7 cycleway until the Richmond Rd exit.

The pick up point is Hungry Jack's Glendenning on Richmond Rd.

Scouts will need to bring

  • bicycle
  • helmet
  • light on front & back of bike - a torch securely attached will do
  • working bell on bicycle
  • personal first aid kit
  • bicycle repair kit
  • wear scout shirt and scarf
  • ensure bike is in working order with tyres inflated, brakes and gears working
  • raincoat
  • gear is to be in a securely fitted backpack, or in a fitted pack/rack on the bike
  • money to purchase a snack at Hungrry Jacks

Leaders will be cycling with the scouts and we will have a support vehicle on standby for any issues.
