This activity is for Leaders and Rovers only. No youth. The aim is to put Leaders on the path to get qualifications to take their you on easy off road trails and on road cycling.

We will meet on Ash Island at Riverside Park at 9:00am.

To get to island head towards McDonalds, Pacific Highway/Maitland Rd.

Go across Ash Island Bridge/Schoolhouse Rd. Follow Schoolhouse Rd to Cabbage Tree Rd.

Follow Cabbage Tree Rd to Milham Rd, follow till you turn left at The La, Follow The La till end of road to Riverside Park Parking area.

Proposed timetable

  • 9 - 11am    Theory and workbooks
  • 11 - 12:30   Ride
  • 12:30 - 1:00  Questions, complete workbooks
  • 1pm         Finish (approx)

What to bring

Your own off road style bike. Helmet etc. A chair and pens. Sunscreen.

Food and Water

Bring your own food, snacks and water for the day.

Region will provide some gazebos and tables.

This is the first time we have run this type of activity so we will see how it flows. Your feedback will be helpful.

You will not gain the qualification on this day. Their may be other evidence such as TP core units, logbook and photos that will needed to be submitted to State Office.

Workbooks

Workbooks are attached if you want to start working through them. There will be printer version on the activity as well.

For those who don't already hold TP qualifications you will also need to complete TP Core units.
