Brief Summary:
Sunday 28th September & Sunday 5th October from 9 am to 5 pm each day. Start and finish Hawkesbury River Station then Upper McKell Park, Brooklyn Dam and Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park. A 2 day bushwalking workshop designed for Cub Scouts and Scouts. Each day has a different route and objectives. We are increasing difficulty gradually.
Additional Information
Participants are welcome to attend the first Sunday only, if going away for the Labour Day long weekend on the following Sunday.
Please note: This activity follows on from the Bundilla Sundays in July.
The bushwalk involves a steep climb up to the dam however we have plenty of time and can stop as required. Very suitable for active kids.
Public transport and limited parking is available.
Limited toilets are available on the day, please bring toilet paper and hand sanitiser.
Drinking water can be filled/refilled/topped up from the town supply before we enter the national park.
