Brief Summary:
Day walk on the Royal Coast Track (Sunday) followed by an overnight walk on the Grand Pacific Walk the following weekend. Distance TBC km per day on a variety of surfaces and terrains. Continuing participants given an opportunity to book before we open to new participants. Camping fee contribution TBC.

Public transport and limited parking outside the campground is available.

North Era Loop bushwalk Sunday 11 January

Approx 17.2 km Loop Otford Station to North Era via Otford Lookout, The Cliff Track, Garrawarra Farm, The Burgh Track, Era Beach, return via The Royal Coast Track, Burning Palms and Palm Jungle

Grand Pacific Walk overnight the following Saturday 17 January and Sunday 18 January

The Grand Pacific Walk follows the coastline from the Royal National Park to Wollongong. The distance is 30 km over 2 days on pavements. Entry level to medium grades, undulating and exposed to the sun.

This walk takes in some breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean, Coast and Escarpment as it winds its way through a number of picturesque villages. The walk itself is easy grade on sealed pavement and road easement of Lawrence Hargrave Drive.

There are a number of landmarks and interesting features including the iconic Sea Cliff Bridge. The route is just on 30 km over two days. 13.9 km from Otford to Austinmer and 16.0 from Austinmer to Wollongong.

Our overnight stay will be TBC. There is a fee of $TBC per person for inside accomodation and facilities to be paid on the day.

We will try to book a sleep point in Austinmer, however if unavailable we may need to catch the train up or down the train line to a campsite/caravan park/scout hall etc.

Self catering applies and public transport is available to and from the venue.
