Brief Summary:
Practice multi day bushwalk. Continues on from the Bundeena and Otford weekends (previous experience required). Undulating terrain with some steep ascents, descents and creek crossings. During the April school holidays. The Great North Walk between Somersby and Yarramalong is 26.7 km. We could start at the Yarramalong end and walk towards Somersby or start at Somersby walk to Yarramalong and return. This will be planned by the youth in December and January. Archers, Stringy Bark Point and Palm Grove have clearings for camping, with other informal sites along the route. Road access to either end and also to the middle (Ourimbah Creek Road) rural and may have unsealed sections.
