Summer Snorkelling at Shelly Beach
Come and explore one of Sydney’s best snorkelling destinations — Cabbage Tree Bay! Thanks to a recent grant, all snorkelling gear will be provided, so no personal equipment is needed. Each session will include a safety briefing, gear fitting, and guided exploration of the bay’s amazing marine life.
Meet at the upper car park at Shelly Beach.
What to Bring:
Swimwear, including a rashie (recommended)
Change of clothes
Towel
Water
Snacks
Hat (for use on the beach)
Sun protection (reef-safe sunscreen preferred)
Water shoes (recommended for walking across rocks)
Important Notes:
Participants must be able to swim confidently.
It is expected that participants have completed, or are operating at the level of, OAS Stage 3 Aquatics.
If you have not snorkelled before, that’s okay! Guidance and instruction will be provided as part of the session.
