Brief Summary:
1 Day Sailing Workshop open to Scouts, Venturers, Rovers and Leaders. Opportunity to learn the basics in sailing. Workshop is run on the skill set of the participants attending.
Additional Information

This is a 1 day Sailing Workshop held at Lake Chipping Norton in Liverpool. The day commences at 9.00am and concludes at 3.00pm. Please wear uniform and bring a change of clothes for wearing on/in the water, including enclosed footwear. (Crocs not suitable). Swimming costime is good and a wetsuit if you have one.. Don't forget a hat and sunscreen.

Please bring linch and snacks. There are no local shops.

All equipment including sailcraft and life jackets will be provided.

The workshop covers the basics in sailing, and will adjusted on the day to suit the skill level of those in attendance.

Outcome will include a recordof attendance. Please bring your Activities Logbook if you have one, or your relevant section award record book.

The workshop is run under Yachting Aust rules for beginner Sailors, underthe instruction of both Keith Travers and John van den Burg.
