Brief Summary:

Tallong Station, Long Point, Shoalhaven River, McCallums Flat 28 km Return Steep hard grade, deep river crossing, some off track. Scouts, Venturers, Rovers, Leaders 7.8 km Tallong Station to Long Point, 6 km Long Point to Shoalhaven River and McCullums Flat

Update 23/02/2020 This activity may be relocated to Goulburn. Fire impact east of Shoalhaven River Morton National Park currently closed.

April school holidays Thursday and Friday.

We are travelling down as a group on Wednesday afternoon, however you can arrive on Thursday morning.

Wednesday - Parramatta Station 3 pm, Glenfield Station 4 pm, Tallong Station 7 pm, Long Point Lookout after 9 pm.

Thursday - Departing the lookout approx 9-11 am and walking down to Shoalhaven River (Very steep decent).

Friday - Plan to return to Long Point Lookout Carpark by 11 am. Walk into Tallong, enjoy refreshments at the General Store, then travel on 1:56 pm TrainLink Coach from Tallong to Moss Vale. Followed by connecting services to Parramatta Station estimate 6 pm.

If you are coming by road:

Hume Highway, Highland Way, Long Point Road, Long Point Lookout Carpark.

Tallong General Store 90 Caoura Road Thursday 7 am to 5 pm, Friday 7 am to 8 pm

Bring your opal card. Self catering applies. Water can be refilled from the river.

Lightweight packing. Bring swimmers, boardshorts and micro towel.

Bush toileting and hygiene.
