Venturer Social Camp November 2025

The next Venturer Social Camp will be in the beautiful, resillient city Lismore. 

Staying at the beautiful Lismore Show Grounds (Alexandra Parade, North Lismore) and enjoig activities around Lismore including:

• Clay Target Shooting
• Northern Rivers Rail Trail walk or cycle
• Koala spotting
• Rollerskating
• Swimming at the pool
• and more

As well as catching up with the other venturers in the region and just hanging out and having fun.

Gear to bring:

• Tent, sleeping mat or stretcher, sleeping bag pillow etc
• Chair for at camp
• Day pack, with water bottle, small first aid kit
• Mess kit with plate/bowl, cup and cutlery
• Clothing - general camp clothing (no singlet shirtts), swimwear, hiking/walking or cycling clothing, sleepwear.
• Towel/s
• Personal items - toiletries, medications, 

Key times:

Arrive at Lismore Show Grounds from 5pm Friday 21 November 2025. Drop your gear then join the other venturers at the Roller Skating Rink.

2pm Sunday 23 November 2025 - pick up venturers at Lismore Show Grounds and everyone goes home.

Notes:

There's a few pricing options depending whether you're doing Clay Target Shooting, and if you need to hire a bike for the Rail Trail (or you can bring your own/ or walk with Quoll). READ the pricing carefully so you choose the right option.

We have capacity for a maximum 30 participants for Clay Target Shooting. Venturers not shooting will be doing other activities, or may watch. If there are spaces, leaders may be invited to also take part (for an additonal fee).

ALL participants of Clay Target Shooting MUST complete and email (signed) the attached P650 form (see downloads). NO FORM = NO SHOOTING. Send the completed form to rc.venturers.nc@nsw.scouts.com.au

Anyone cycling the Rail Trail must either bring a safe well maintained bike, or select the option to hire one from Region. Anyone without a bike will be joining Quoll walking the trail.
