Beginners Paddling
This is a self-catered, half day activity which will Includes some basic theory and practical involving paddling safety as well as the participants being able to learn paddling skills. Participants will learn basic stokes, correct way to embark and disembark a canoe/kayak, capsize procedures as well as a lot more. OAS stages 1 to 3
It is for Cubs and Scouts with little expewrience paddling.
Participants will go home at lunch time. There are toilets located on foreshore and in hall.
Bring a change of clothes, enclosed water shoes, a hat, sunscreen, snacks, water bottle and a towel.
Participants are required to bring their own (or borrowed) craft, paddle and PFD.
