Personal Development Course

The Cub Scout Personal Development Course offers interested Cub Scouts an opportunity to meet new people and develop their communication, teamwork and leadership skills.

Date: 9.00am Saturday 25th to 3.00pm Sunday, 26th October 2025

Location: Bundilla Scout Camp.

Eligibility:

• The minimum age to attend this course is 10 years. 

• Cub Scouts must be working on Milestone 2 or 3.

This is an over night camp. We will be completing a number of activities over the weekend, including sleeping in tents outdoors.

What to Bring: Please come prepared to be outside, potentially in the weather, and bring a day pack with items you would need for the day, including a hat and water bottle. This activity will be catered for. Please do not bring any food or snacks. 

Cub Scouts will need to bring a copy of their Unit Code with them (if you don't have a copy, ask your Cub Leader for one).

Packing List: Attached is a packing list. The Cubs will be sleeping in tents.

Medications: Attached is a medications permission form. Please ensure you provide a copy of the medications permission form in a named zip-lock bag along with any medications, to the course leader, on arrival.

PLEASE NOTE:

• If numbers exceed the nominal limit, preference will be given to older Cub Scouts from the GWS Region and prospective Grey Wolf recipients

• Cub Scouts will need to attend the weekend of activities (9am Saturday - 3pm Sunday) to achieve their Personal Development badge

• In the event that four (4) or more youth members from the same Scout Group register, an adult Leader will be asked to attend to assist the course facilitator 

• All members must have completed the e-Permission form and made payment to be accepted on the course
